Heading north we come to Portugal's second city of Porto, this medieval city merits a visit. It's extraordianry gold leaf churches, the endless list of Port vintage wine vineyards which circulates the city and the Douro river which splits the city in two will be sure to bring out the camera for an astonishing picturesque moment. Porto is also the former home to J.K Rowling the author of Harry Potter and the famous library in the movies can be found in this city known as 'Livraria Lello'. However, Portugal doesn't end here, if you haven't heard of cities such as Braga, Guimaraes and Sintra you are missing out on the opportunity to witness Portugal prior to its Tourism. Moving away from the mainland Portugal host some of Europes most divine islands such as Madeira and the Acores which is just a short flight away. You won't find many islands like these with its spectacular landscapes greenery.
